Dr. László is an internationally recognized expert and visionary in health, wellness, medical travel, hospitality, and tourism. As an economist specializing in tourism, leisure, and hospitality, he has led benchmark research including “Medical Tourism and Wellness Tourism: Where Do Spas Fit?” for the Global Spa Summit, and “Exploring Health Tourism” for the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the European Travel Commission (ETC).
With over 25 years of experience, László has developed deep expertise in product development, real estate conceptualization, experience design, impact assessment, and strategic marketing. He is a frequent speaker and trainer at international conferences, addressing topics such as performance benchmarking, competitive product development, and the growing role of wellbeing in travel and leisure. He also trains professionals in marketing and product development at both property and destination levels.
László has authored and co-authored several influential books and academic papers, including “Health Tourism and Hospitality: Spas, Wellness, and Medical Travel.” He graduated as an economist from the Budapest University of Economics and earned a PhD in Environmental Impacts of Tourism from the same university.
He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Past President of the Association of Tourism Consultants in Hungary. Previously, he worked as a Manager at KPMG’s Travel, Leisure, and Tourism Group (Europe & Middle East), where he advised both private and public sector projects globally.
