About John Hogan

John J. Hogan: Hotelier, Author, and Educator

John J. Hogan is a career hotelier, author, and educator. He has held senior leadership roles in several organizations. These positions involved operational, academic, and entrepreneurial enterprises.

He has a broad management background. His affiliations include Sheraton, Hilton, Dunfey (now Omni), and Park Suite (now Embassy Suites). He also worked with Med Center Inns of America, Best Western world headquarters, and various independent properties.

Hogan is also an experienced educator. He taught as an adjunct professor for more than 20 years at three different colleges. As of 2016, he had conducted over 5,000 classes and workshops in his career.

He is the Co-Founder and Chief Learning Officer of HospitalityEducators.com. This solutions center for hotel owners and managers was established in 2010.
