Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has announced the signing of Canopy by Hilton Porta Jeddah, following the group’s ongoing commitment to expansion throughout Saudi Arabia. The hotel is set to be developed in partnership with Al Akaria Real Estate Co. and is expected to open its doors in 2028.

Canopy by Hilton Porta Jeddah will feature 183 guest rooms and 55 residences, offering guests a stylish and comfortable stay. The property will include world-class dining options, such as a specialty restaurant and a signature rooftop concept—a hallmark of Canopy hotels. Guests will also enjoy a fully equipped fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, and nearly 300 square meters of modern meeting space.

In addition, the hotel will introduce Canopy Central, a vibrant leisure and retail hub designed to adapt to the needs of guests throughout their stay. This space will include various zones for relaxation, shopping, and dining, along with additional retail and office areas.
Reflecting the energetic Canopy by Hilton brand style, Canopy by Hilton Porta Jeddah promises a locally inspired and elevated experience. Guests can expect sophisticated interiors, bespoke dining options, and an atmosphere that blends comfort with modern Saudi hospitality.
Ideally located on King Abdulaziz Road, the hotel is steps away from the Red Sea Mall and close to the Jeddah Corniche, one of the city’s most vibrant commercial and recreational districts. The property is also near key institutions such as the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority and the US General Consulate. King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA), the country’s busiest airport and a major gateway for pilgrims visiting Makkah, is only a 20-minute drive away.
Hilton currently operates 16 hotels across Saudi Arabia and plans to open over 50 new properties under 10 of its brands, making the Kingdom the company’s largest pipeline market in the EMEA region. Upcoming projects will introduce new Hilton brands such as LXR Hotels & Resorts, Canopy by Hilton, Embassy Suites by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton. In total, Hilton aims to expand its Saudi portfolio to more than 75 hotels in the coming years.
